Sheepy Parish Council
The Parish council comprises of the Parish of Sheepy which is located within the Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council area of Leicestershire. The Parish is comprised of a large rural area and is located on the borders of Leicestershire with North Warwickshire. This area of Leicestershire is famous for The Battle of Bosworth Field, the last significant battle of the War of the Roses, the civil war between the houses of Lancaster and that of York that raged across England in the latter half of the 15th Century.
The Parish consists the settlements of Sheepy Magna, Sheepy Parva, Sibson, Wellsborough, Upton, Pinwall and Cross Hands.
