A message of condolence from Sheepy Parish Council
Sheepy Parish Council and its parishioners are deeply saddened to learn about the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on 8th September 2022.
Since 6th February 1952 when she became Queen, Her Majesty’s life has been dedicated to serving this nation and its people. As the longest reigning monarch, her presence has been a comfort and source of strength in a rapidly changing world and Her Majesty’s hard- working dedication has been a source of inspiration to so many.
A book of condolence will be in Sheepy Parish Church and will be open throughout the mourning period, there will also be a Hinckley and Bosowrth Borough Council condolence book at Twycross Zoo.
Floral tributes can be left under the village Sign and at the beacon in Sheepy Magna and at the village signs in Sheepy Parva, Sibson and Upton.
She will be greatly missed and the impact her reign has had will not be forgotten. May she rest in peace.
