UKRAINIAN GRANT FUND
Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to announce that Round 3 of Leicestershire County Council’s Ukrainian Community Grant Fund is now open.
Grants of up to £5,000 will be available to local charities and community groups to provide additional support for Ukrainian guests and families living in the County.
In particular, we are keen to support community-based projects, services and activities which are specifically targeted at improving the opportunities, wellbeing and social integration of Ukrainian families in Leicestershire.
The activities funded must support Ukrainian families in Leicestershire to have the skills, knowledge and confidence to live independently in the UK by increasing the capacity of community-based support, through the following.
- Support the development of English language learning skills.
- Support access to employment, training and education.
- Improve access to volunteering opportunities.
- Support older members of the community
- Support access to appropriate and stable accommodation and housing
- Support the social integration of Ukrainian guests and contribute to community cohesion
- Support education, learning and understanding of the issues faced by Ukrainian guests across communities more broadly.
Activities which improve the opportunities, integration and wellbeing of Ukrainian children and young people are particularly welcome.
Round 3 of the Leicestershire Ukrainian Community Grant Fund opens today (Wednesday 13th August 2025) and will close on Wednesday 24th September 2025 at 5:00pm.
