Parades that require road closures or other restrictions – Deadline 12th September 2024
Previously some of you may have applied via your Borough or District Council. Please apply directly to Leicestershire County Council Highways as you did in 2024 viaeventsnetworkmanagement@leics.gov.uk.
The application can be found attached to this email titled ‘Remembrance Application Pack 2025’.
Required information – Deadline 12thSeptember 2024
For any events that will have an impact on the Highway the following information will be required;
- Risk assessment
- Traffic Management details
- Map showing locations of signs/cones and diversion if there is one
- Public Liability Insurance
Template documents are attached to this email.
The majority of you will likely have variations of these documentation from previous years, for consistency please only use these updated templates. Other versions will no longer be accepted.
Signs and cones – Deadline 12th September 2024
Many of you will already have a stock of signs from previous years, if this is the case please get in touch to request numbered stickers only. These will be sent out in the post.
If you are wanting to loan signs and cones please be aware these must be collected from the Mountsorrel Depot as a stock is not kept at County Hall offices or Croft Depot. Appropriate arrangements will need to be made for collection or a quote for delivery can be requested. This year you will be given a time slot with your confirmation so that the collection can be managed easily. Please do not arrive without speaking with a member of staff first. You will find attached to this email the forms to request signs and/or cones.
In previous years marshal information sessionswere held, please find attached the presentation.
