Thomas Leaving Charity

The Thomas Leaving Charity traces its roots back to 1752 when Thomas Leaving left a bequest to the parish to help those in financial need. Whilst the name has changed over time, its purpose has not; it still provides grants or assistance to people in the Sheepy Benefice who are struggling financially.

We know that this has been a difficult year for many, so if you live in Sheepy Benefice area and need some support, the good news is we may be able to help.  Please contact the clerk at or, if you do not have access to email, you can telephone on 07929761674. Rest assured, all applications are treated in confidence and we never release the names of those we have supported.
