Notice of uncontested Election Sheepy Ward
The Sheepy Flower and Vegetable Show Committee (Julie Dixon, Keith Dixon, Pat Clark, Les Clark) have used monies raised from the Annual Sheepy Flower and Veg Show (that they organise and run every year), to purchase Wildflower Plants and Seeds. We proposed a brand new Wildflower Patch within The Sheepy Glade to both Clive Blewitt (Sheepy Playing Field Committee) and Ian Papworth (Sheepy PC). The SF&VS Committee, with full backing from Clive and Ian then set about researching the best seeds and plants to purchase and buy.
We chose UK Native. UK Grown. Organic. It was a stroke of added luck that the seeds also happened to come from a Warwickshire business (therefore supporting local business too).

Sheepy Parish Council invite you to a meeting at Sheepy Playing fields at 6pm on Thursday 18th April 2019
This is for all local residents to share their opinions and views on a proposed outdoor gym the council are considering installing on the playing fields.
The Council will outline the proposed locations and equipment type and would welcome feedback from parishioners to ensure the installation delivers the best for our Parish.
If you can’t make the meeting then please email sheepyparish@gmail.com with any comments or queries.
Please find enclosed the latest newsletter from the Market Bosworth Police Force.
These works have now been cancelled and will be re programmed for a future date.
The A444 will be closed at Twycross on 28th March 2019 from 9:15am to 3:30pm.
The diversion route is shown on the attached plan and will cause some temporary parking restrictions at Main Road and Mill Lane in Sheepy Magna.
Following an independent examination and a positive referendum result, Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council have decided to formally ‘make’ the Sheepy Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan. The Sheepy Parish Neighbourhood Plan now forms part of the Development Plan for Hinckley and Bosworth and the policies in the plan will be given full weight when assessing planning applications that affect land covered by the plan. Attached is a copy of the Formal Decision Statement and this will be available on the Borough Council’s Website and the Hinckley Hub to view.
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council would like to take this opportunity to thank all those involved in preparing the Neighbourhood Plan, it takes a lot of commitment for these documents to be ‘made’ and all those involved have spent a considerable amount of time to get the document to this stage. The Neighbourhood Plan had a positive majority vote, with over 90% voting ‘yes’ which is higher than the national average and a reflection of the groups hard work.
Please find attached details of a road closure along Fenns Lane on the 21st March 2019
